Duties for Editors 1. Editors are accountable and responsible for everything that is published in the journal; 2. Editors commit themselves for fair and impartial decision making independent from commercial interests; 3. Editorial board has the right to accept or reject the manuscript, or can send it for the modification; 4. Editors should organize the process of equitable and impartial reviewing; 5. Editors conduct an editorial policy ensuring maximum transparency and full accountability to the authors and editorial board; 6. Editors must protect the integrity of publications, provide issue of corrections and reviews of publications; 7. Editors critically evaluate the ethics of research probing on humans and animals; 8. Editors inform the authors and reviewers of what is expected from them; 9. Editors disclose editorial conflicts of interest.
Editorial Board Responsibilities 1. The Editorial Board must keep information pertaining to submitted manuscripts confidential; 2. The Editorial Board must disclose any conflicts of interest; 3. The Editorial Board must evaluate manuscripts only for their intellectual content; 4. The Editorial Board is responsible for making publication decisions for submitted manuscripts.
Duties for Authors 1. Authors must guarantee that they have written entirely original work that this manuscript has not been published elsewhere; 2. Authors should avoid plagiarism and parallel publications in other journals; 3. Authors must follow the Instructions to Authors; 4. Authors should, also, provide all data related with their manuscript; 5. Authors should avoid a conflict of interests; 6. All authors must significantly contribute to the research; 7. Authors are obliged to participate in peer review process; 8. All authors are obliged to provide retractions or corrections of mistakes; 9. Authors are obliged to provide list of references and financial support.
Peer-review process 1. Peer-review is defined as obtaining advice on individual manuscripts from reviewers being experts in the field; 2. All of journal’s content is subjected to peer-review; 3. Reviewers should avoid a conflict of interests; 4. Reviewers should keep confidential all information regarding the reviewed manuscript; 5. Reviewers should adhere a term of article review; 6. Reviewers should formulate an objective, reasonable and impartial review; 7. Reviewers should point out relevant published work which is not yet cited; 8. Reviewers must report about any kind of similarity between the submitted manuscript and other published papers.
Publication ethics 1. Publishers and editors must take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred; 2. In no case the Journal or its editors must not encourage such misconduct, or knowingly allow such misconduct to take place; 3. In the case when the Journal editors are well aware of any allegation of research misconduct the publisher or editor must treat such allegations appropriately and responsibly; 4. The Journal provides guidelines for retracting or correcting articles when needed; 5. Publisher and editors are always willing to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when needed.
Copyright and Access
1. Copyright on any article is retained by the author(s);
2. Authors grant KMK Scientific Press Ltd. a license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher;
3. Authors grant KMK Scientific Press Ltd. commercial rights to produce hardcopy volumes of the journal for sale to libraries and individuals;
4. Authors grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its original authors and citation details are identified;
5. This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
