The main areas of research

The main directions of the laboratory research include the study of the spatial structure and organization of the animal population, the development of principles and methods for its monitoring and their implementation when tracking, evaluating and predicting the distribution and number of reference groups of animals (amphibians, reptiles, birds and small mammals). The applied aspects of these works are reduced to monitoring the number of hunting birds, rare and endangered animals of the West Siberian Plain and the Altai-Sayan mountain country.

Since 1981, a collective data bank has been operating in the laboratory.
